MUNEE Database
The Alliance to Save Energy provides a database of all ministries, municipal entities, non-governmental organizations, business and trade associations, and professional organizations which are active in the development of energy efficiency policies and programs in the transition countries. The directory was a joint project between the USAID and the Alliance to Save Energy to identify non- government organizations, government departments and agencies working with energy efficiency in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS countries.
The directory has been formulated as a municipal network for energy efficiency to provide a valuable resource for those in search of relevant information. It is an effort to coordinate and link organizations and groups interested and knowledgeable in energy-efficiency. Furthermore, it can serve as a resource for municipalities, non-governmental organizations, government agencies and various companies who are working to improve energy-efficiency or enhance their knowledge of the field.
